The members of "Cécile Ensemble", from Italy, Slovakia and Poland, studied with eminent teachers as Paolo Bordoni, Pier Narciso Masi,Trio di Trieste, Franco Gulli, Salvatore Accardo, Alessandro Perpich, Johannes Goritzki e Monika Leskovar, Alessandro Carbonare, Guido Corti e Piero Farulli.
They have performed in orchestras, chamber music and as soloists in Europe, Argentina, China, United States and have collaborated on theater projects , contemporary music, Argentinian tango and jazz. They have also played and recorded for Fabbri Editori, RSI ReteDue, BBC 3, Tetraktys Music, RadioRAI and Radio Popolare.
The ensemble offers the "Academy Award Music" program: a tribute to the wonderful movie soundtracks that received prestigious awards such as the Oscar, the Lion d'Or, BAFTA. The project includes excerpts from the classical repertoire, included in famous movies as Disney's "Fantasia" and Kubrick's "Barry Lindon", and other written by great masters as Morricone, Williams, Sakamoto and Barry.
The program is performed with chamber music arrangements, from duo to piano quartet, with the intent to bring back to memory, from the 30s to the present day, the atmosphere, the scenes, the emotions of some of the most beautiful films in the history of cinema.
